Club Information

Our club nights are on Tuesdays from 7.30 – 10pm at the Youth Centre, Nunnery Lane, New Ross. We love to see new people who are interested in our sport and intending to give it a go, however at times we have full capacity so anybody wishing to come and try it please email or ring the Club Secretary first. We will do our utmost to invite you in asap, so you won’t be disappointed if you turn up on a busy night..

Newcomers to our club, get to start shooting reasonably quickly (usually within 15 minutes) following an introductory demonstration and assessment by our experienced personnel.

Once we deem new members archery competent (usually in about 6 weeks), we will invite you to visit our outdoor woodland course on joining the club/ or just prior to it.

We recommend that new people do not buy archery equipment until they know what best suits them and are given advice by our instructors. Until then we have lots of training equipment for Newcomers to try.

We have a wide range of members from age 8 to retirement age. It is a great club, full of friendliness, loyalty, humour, laughter, dedication and positivity.

We have members who are fiercely competitive and others who do archery as a social outlet. Nine of our archers hold Irish records and we have many success stories and an extremely talented underage membership. Either way you will be more than welcome at Dunbrody Archers…
